[EPFN] 3 Agencies Failed You?
Listings are weak. Products are flat. And you're blaming traffic? This issue tears the excuses apart—one painful truth at a time.
Welcome to Issue #69 of the EcomProductFinders Newsletter! 🎉

Being Nice in Business Will Cost You.
I’m a nice person.
Seriously—I’ll give people chances, second chances, and sometimes even third ones.
But being nice in business?
That’s a fast track to getting disrespected, used, and drained. So today, let’s talk about a very real story that just happened inside Wild Heart Riding School.
When we hire, we don’t mess around.
Resume first. Profile check. Background screening.
Then we run interviews.
And only if someone passes that, they get invited to a working interview—two to three days, boots on the ground, full heat, full responsibility.
Because this job is not for hobby riders—it’s for A-players who can handle pressure, chaos, and excellence.
Now, when someone makes it through?
They know they’ve earned it. That’s why our team is solid.
No weak links. And yes, we pay above market because I don’t believe in hiring average and expecting greatness.
So we ran ads nationwide. Found someone from California. She looked good on paper, passed the interview.
We bought the plane ticket. Paid for the hotel. Mapped out the schedule.
$1,200 in upfront costs just to bring her in for this opportunity.
And then? Silence.
She ghosted. No show. No heads-up. Not even a “Sorry, can’t make it.”
We followed up once.
Followed up twice.
Three times.
Nothing. Not even the decency of an excuse.
Now here’s the thing—I debated whether to let it go.
Be the “bigger person.” But no.
We had a schedule built around her showing up.
Chores to be covered.
Tasks reassigned.
Time wasted.
Money gone.
Being nice in business doesn’t mean being spineless.
Adults don’t get to ghost commitments without consequences.
So yes—we’re putting her into collections.
If you let people spit in your face and walk away without wiping it off and saying never again, then life will keep sending you more of that disrespect.
I believe in boundaries.
And this one?
It’s about self-respect and protecting the business I’ve built from the ground up.
When life presents you with similar situations more than once, it's often the Universe's way of checking whether you've truly learned your lesson.
You're not being punished—you're being given a chance to respond differently, to grow, and to position yourself for success.

🎬 This Ain’t Your Average Newsletter Plug
Kevin King didn’t just make a video—he dropped a full-blown cinematic punch straight into the world of email marketing.
This isn’t some talking-head snoozefest.
It’s part thriller, part detective noir, part comic book fever dream... and somehow still all about his newsletter.
The wild part?
You can do the same for your brand. In your voice. In your style. Whether you want edge-of-your-seat suspense or laugh-out-loud absurdity, it’s all possible.
Watch the video. Get inspired. Comment like a human with taste. And if you’re not subscribed to Kevin’s newsletter yet... fix that.
These Platforms Turn Your Product Into a Mini-Movie
Let’s get real—95% of buyers are visual learners. They don’t want to read specs.
They want to see your product in action, feel how it fits into their life, and envision themselves using it like it was made just for them.
That’s why video content isn’t optional anymore—it’s the difference between browsed and bought.
Here’s what’s making it stupid easy in 2025:
Sora (OpenAI) – Create short films, cinematic promos, or ad-level video scenes from text. The results? Insane.
ChatGPT + LAM Labs – Add your product, choose a tone (thriller? documentary? hype ad?), and generate video scripts and visuals that don’t suck.
Creatify AI – Upload your product, and boom—it places it right inside real-life templates. Want to see how your item looks in a gym, kitchen, or out camping? Done. It’s personalized video marketing with zero need for actors or a set.
Pika Labs and RunwayML – Great for branded motion design, voiceover, and product explainer videos. Drag, drop, done.

Think ChatGPT Is Your Therapist? Think Again.
Before you spill your deepest secrets to a chatbot, know this:
ChatGPT isn’t bound by therapist or attorney confidentiality.
If things ever go legal—your data can be disclosed.
Yes, even the stuff you thought was “private.”
Use it for product research, travel plans, or learning—but don’t treat it like a diary.
Watch Sam Altman explain it himself (and maybe rethink that late-night overshare):
Blaming Your PPC Agency?
Look in the Mirror.

Let’s get real. Sales come down to three things: product, traffic, and conversion. If your PPC agency is burning cash and bringing you expensive traffic—yes, that’s on them.
But if they’re doing their job and getting you cheap, qualified clicks, and you’re still not making money, guess what?
The problem isn’t traffic. It’s you. It’s your listing. It’s your product.
Most sellers only hire agencies when they’re already in trouble—sales are down, panic sets in, and now the agency is supposed to be your savior. But here’s the truth: no PPC agency can fix a product no one wants.
They can’t rewrite a lazy listing, retake your busted photos, or convince shoppers to buy something that doesn’t solve a real problem.
That’s not their job.
If your product was flying off the shelves last year and now it's tanking, chances are you were living off launch momentum—or worse, just lucky.
If ten more sellers entered the niche with better listings, better design, or actual differentiation while you stayed stuck in “it worked before,” that’s not a PPC failure.
That’s stagnation.
And if you’ve already burned through two or three agencies and the results are the same? Newsflash: it’s not them—it’s your product, or your conversion, or both.
You’ve got tools.
You’ve got data.
You’ve got options.
But you’ve also got to own it. Because fixing traffic is easy. Fixing a weak product? That’s where the real work begins.
“What gets measured gets managed.”

Subcategory Report Breakdown: Disposable Diapers
If you’re serious about launching products that sell, understanding your subcategory is non-negotiable.
The SellersSprite Subcategory Report breaks down the exact dynamics of any niche before you waste time or money.
Take Disposable Diapers as an example—this report shows over 1.5 million units sold monthly, with top listings averaging over $3.2 million in revenue.
But here’s what matters more: 96.3% of the products are branded and 98.9% of sellers are established, which means this space is extremely saturated unless you come in with a powerful edge.
You also get deep insight into return rates, average gross margins, search-to-buy ratios, and how well new products perform compared to established listings.
That level of data allows you to gauge risk, plan differentiation, and build smarter from day one.
If you’ve never worked with this kind of data before, this is your chance.
You can access SellersSprite with a 30-day gift card and explore these subcategory breakdowns yourself.
It’s one of the fastest ways to validate whether a product is worth your time.
