When Life Decides to Go Off Script...
You guys are in for a doozy
Welcome to Issue #38 of the EcomProductFinders Newsletter! đ
⨠When Life Decides to Go Off Script
Guys, today (still 12/4) was one for the books.
My plan for the day was simple:
1) Check out a property weâre eyeing đĄ
2) Knock out some work đŠđťâđť
3) Record a podcast đ
4) Review products for clients đ
âa pretty standard routine.
But life had other plans.
First, the internet crashed, canceling my podcast.
Then daycare called with news that Liam had a sudden fever of 102, so I rushed to pick him up. đđ¨

If that wasnât enough, Dillan, my fifth grader, came home with a story straight out of a movie. He needed a phone to call a friendâs mom becauseâbrace yourselfâthe HOA manager had called the cops. đđŽđťââď¸
Why?
Turns out, while the boys were playing soccer near the clubhouse, a woman started yelling at them and, unbelievably, hitting them because theyâd left their water bottles on the ground.
Dillan, being the quick thinker he is, ran to the HOA building for help, and the manager ended up calling the police. What followed was an hour-long ordeal involving statements to the police, parents deciding whether to press charges, and me trying to keep a leveled head. I didnât want to press charges against someone Iâd never met, knowing that could be a life-altering decision.
Instead, I suggested an apology and left the option open for other parents to take further action if needed.
And as if THAT wasnât enough, my dog, who had been refusing food for the past 48 hours, suddenly started vomitting and bleeding, which landed us in the ER.
And here I am,
writing this newsletter from the vetâs waiting room, hoping tomorrow will bring a little more calm and a lot less chaos.
But hey, sometimes the days that test us the most leave us with the best stories to tell.
đĄLessons From a Successful Product Launch
I promised you content, and here it is.
On Tuesday, I shared a case study showcasing how we launched a clientâs product successfully.
The key to that success wasnât just finding the right product or developing and testing it against competitorsâalthough thatâs always crucial.
The game-changer here was our creative pre-launch strategy.
For this launch, we focused on gathering emails đŠ and building a funnel to announce the productâs launch đŁ.
As a result, we hit the ground running with 40-50 sales on day one đĽ.
This led to immediate ranking for high-intent keywords on page one.
The product still doesnât have any reviews yet, which, as you know, is actually better than having just one âď¸ or two âď¸.
Despite that, weâre maintaining a low ACoS of 20-25%, generating steady revenue of over $30,000 a month.
Even after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, weâre holding strong at over $1,000 in daily sales đ¸.
Once we start requesting reviews in bulk using one of our favorite Chrome extension tools, weâre confident the 10-20 reviews we gather will further boost sales đ.
The takeaway here is simple: the approach matters. Creativity and strategy in the pre-launch phase can set the stage for long-term success.
This product is part of our annual case study project, where we select a handful of clients (three to five) to showcase results like these âŹď¸.
Case study participants benefit from discounted rates compared to our regular services. If youâre interested, nowâs your chance to apply.
đ´ A New (Tiny) Addition to the Family!
As youâre reading this newsletterâor perhaps catching up laterâIâm on my way to pick up the newest member of our family, Wall-E!
If youâve been following along, I mentioned him recently, and I couldnât be more excited to bring him home.

Wall-E is a 35-pound miniature horse, just 3 months old, and full of baby energy and charm.
Heâs about to add a whole new level of cuteness to our family dynamic, and I canât wait for you all to meet him!
Be sure to follow me on Instagram, where Iâll be sharing plenty of updates (and adorable photos âşď¸) of Wall-E settling into his new home.
Prepare yourself for a serious overload of cutenessâyouâve been warned!
đMust-Listen Podcasts for Amazon Sellers
Before I wrap up, I want to share a couple of phenomenal podcast episodes that I highly recommend.
The first is with Joanna Lambadjieva, where we dove deep into insights on product development, strategies for growth, and overcoming common challenges. It was a conversation packed with actionable advice and takeaways that you wonât want to miss.
The second is a fantastic episode with Noah Wickham, where we discussed scaling PPC campaigns and strategies to take your Amazon product to the next level.
Oh, and I completely forgotâ
without any warning, I found out today that my familyâs medical insurance got canceled, because apparently, SideCarHealth now only works with B2B clients.

To top it off, weâre also battling Amazon again as theyâve unlinked our payment method, withholding our funds yet again.
Itâs happened before, and here we are dealing with it once more đ¤Śđťââď¸.
So, hopefully, thatâs it for today. đ
Iâm writing this issue while sitting in the ER waiting room (11:20 PM).
Coordinating with my daughter to lay it out to make it look pretty, because given the reality, I wonât be home earlier than 2 AM :)
Yours Truly,
Izabella Ritz
